Moorview Decorators are an established, experienced painting & decorating company based in Bow, Mid Devon. We cover a wide area including Crediton, Okehampton, North Tawton, Winkleigh, Copplestone, Zeal, Spreyton, Lapford, Sanford etc. We sometimes work further away such as Chulmleigh, Exeter and Exmouth.

We undertake both internal and external decorating. Sometimes its just a fresh coat of paint whilst other times it may be more involved - such as repairing and reinstating surfaces prior to painting including dealing with rotting wood sections, damp staining and plaster or render repair and skimming.  

We are also experienced with wallpaper hanging; something that many decorators are not comfortable to offer!

We also have wide experience with the decoration of cob properties and lime render. Special prep and paint is required which we can advise on.

We offer our services to both residential and commercial premises and are often called upon to do end of tenancy refurbs. We can also help personalise new builds which tend to be finished in white or magnolia! Builders requiring post second fix decoration on projects are welcome; we can sub-contract to you or work directly for your client.

We also offer installation services such as laminate floor laying as well as refurbishing kitchens and bathrooms.

If you are still undecided or need help choosing the colour for your redecoration, we have complete Dulux Trade and Dulux Heritage colour patch fan swatches to help you compare or match a particular shade. We also have many other swatches if required.

Each colour has a unique code detailing:

Hue - The colour family (yellow, red, blue etc)

LRV - Light Reflectance Value (lightness or darkness of colour)

Chromo - The intensity of colour

We can use these codes to have the exact shade mixed by Dulux.
